How to view layers in Gimp

Gimp has some floating toolbars and it’s very easy to have them disappear and then you can’t find them. Unlike Photoshop and other graphic design tools or apps it’s not very intuitive…fortunately, the solution is quite simple.

From the top toolbar:

Windows> Dockable Dialogs > Layers

Now why wasn’t that simply in view? Well, that would be too easy now wouldn’t it!
