What does it mean to diversify your anchor text post Penguin update?

These days any back linking strategy isn’t enough, you need to be careful how you link to your site on other sites. You must not use the same anchor text for every link, this will look unnatural to Google and will penalize your rankings, from April 24 th to May 2012  anyways, the new penguin 1.1 just rolled out so thing might change but but for now this seems to be the consensus. So how can you diversify your anchor link text to Google Penguin update parameters?
